A child practicing everyday skills with a supportive occupational therapist at home

Manhattan Beach & the South Bay

Helping kids grow from the roots up.

Warm, relationship-based occupational therapy for children from birth to 14 in Manhattan Beach and the South Bay.

Dr. A helps kids feel more regulated, confident, and capable, and gives parents strategies that fit real family life.

A whole-child approach

Strong roots support lasting growth.

Children do best when support feels safe, connected, and part of real life. Dr. A meets your child where they are: at home, at school, in the community, and alongside the people who know them best.

How Dr. A helps

Support for the skills beneath the surface.

Practical care for children from birth through age 14, with parents included every step of the way.

01

In-Home & Community Sessions

Dr. A works one-on-one with your child at home, or in the places they spend their day, like the park or a local activity. Sessions focus on what's hard right now, whether that's big feelings, getting dressed in the morning, holding a pencil, or moving from one activity to the next. You'll always know what your child is working on and leave with practical ways to keep building these skills between sessions.

02

Parent Consultation & Coaching

Sometimes the most helpful thing is a clear plan for you. Dr. A listens to what's going on at home, helps you understand what's behind your child's behavior, and gives you strategies that fit your family's routines. Choose a single session or ongoing support as your child grows.

03

School & Classroom Support

If your child is struggling at school, Dr. A can observe them in the classroom and work with their teacher on strategies that help. Home and school stay on the same page, so your child's support doesn't stop at the classroom door.

04

Parent Workshops

Small local workshops for South Bay parents on everyday challenges like meltdowns, sensory needs, morning routines, and building independence. You'll leave with ideas you can use that night.
